About Transit of VenusTransit of Venus is a Philadelphia metro-area based indie-rock music label. Our philosophy is to work with a few very talented bands and artists and to invest to help them expand their audience while continuing to pursue their art in a mutually rewarding and respectful relationship. We are scheduled for releases through most of 2007, but if you want us to consider you or your band, please don't send demo CD's. Save the postage and the environment and send us a link to a website where we can listen to MP3s or other sound files and find out something about you or your band. Our bias is for indie rock, folk and alt-country with great song-writing. We have a lot of respect for other genres like metal, hardcore, etc. - it's just not what we do.
